Rescue California is a small rural town just adjacent to Cameron Park, Placerville, and other towns. It consists of primarily farmland, vineyards, and ranches with an expanding amount of residential neighborhoods and businesses. Rescue doesn't have large supermarkets or department stores, but there is a quaint home and gift market located on a horse farm called H3 Barn. The market is literally located on the owner's property and sits in an actual barn. As you discover the shop, you can browse the horse stalls and if you're lucky, you may even catch the horses.
Shopping consists of home decor, kitchen and cooking gadgets, cocktail serving pieces and so much more. If you're looking for events, the barn hosts monthly maker's markets, sip and shops, and workshops where you get to create anything from candles to wreaths. Another event that is hosted is a kid's maker market. Here kids are able to highlight and show their skills and talent along with their future entrepreneurship.
This is truly the epitome of a hidden gem as it's tucked away on the winding roads of Rescue California. I'll be posting a list of their events throughout the end of the year.
