This particular story begins over 30 years ago when Artistic Beads & Studio operated in Hollywood, CA as Artistic Hand Beading. Artistic Hand Beading was so famous that couture fashion designers sought out their skilled beading and we were honored to serve iconic performing artists such as Michael Jackson, Cher, Neil Diamond, Lionel Richi, Stevie Wonder; classic Las Vegas acts including Siegfried and Roy, Jubilee, Phantom of the Opera; and timeless designers Galanos, Bob Mackie, Nolan Miller, and many others.
Stella Ruata was the sought-after beading specialist who created all of the famous looks for the above-mentioned performers. Since then, her legacy lives on through her daughter in the form of countless, beautiful conditions, out-of-production, vintage beads, and jewelry-making supplies.
They have the most amazing assortment of vintage and out-of-production beads, crystals, and findings from the 30s-70s. Most of our vintage beads are in mint to good condition. We also carry an assortment of modern and contemporary beads that are still growing.
